How to prepare, what to expect, and specific questions about massage, beauty, fitness and more.
For details on how to prepare for any treatment, please visit the Treatment Etiquette section on the website and App. In general, ensure you have a clean, comfortable space available and communicate any preferences or health notes with your therapist at the start of the session.
The therapist will bring massage oil and music. However, they will not provide towels for hygiene reasons — please have your own clean towels ready before they arrive.
Yes. You can ask your therapist to adjust the pressure at any time, even during the massage, as long as it’s within the treatment type selected.
Usually clients wear only bottom underwear during a massage. Your modesty is always preserved by large towels placed over your body. You are required to keep your underwear on at all times during the massage.

A hot stone massage uses smooth, heated basalt stones placed on key points of the body to warm and loosen tight muscles, allowing the therapist to work more deeply. The therapist may also use the stones to directly massage the body.
Deep tissue massage targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It uses slower, more forceful strokes to target tight muscles, knots, and areas of tension or pain. It is particularly beneficial for chronic aches and pains.
A Swedish massage is a full-body, relaxation massage using long, smooth strokes, kneading and circular movements. It is ideal for reducing stress, improving circulation and inducing a deep sense of calm. It is the most popular massage we offer.
Normal polish does not need removing. For Shellac or gel, the therapist can remove it at an additional cost. Please let us know at the time of treatment by selecting the shellac Removal add-on.
We currently do not offer acrylic nail removal. We recommend having these removed professionally before your manicure appointment.
As part of a manicure, the therapist will file and buff your nails. If the nails are very damaged and require a specialist treatment, this may not be fully covered in our standard nail services.
Our therapists use a normal foot buffing file. We do not use razors or blades for safety and hygiene reasons.
For luxury manicures and pedicures we use professional brands including ESSIE and OPI. For Shellac and gel manicures we use professional gel brands including CND Shellac, the GelBottle and OPI Gelcolor.
Yes, you can ask the therapist to use your own tools and varnishes if you prefer. Please have them ready before the therapist arrives.
A Shellac manicure and a gel manicure are effectively the same thing — long-lasting varnishes cured under UV lamps. "Gel manicure" is the generic term, while Shellac is a specific brand by Creative Nail Design (CND). Both last up to 2–3 weeks with proper care.
Although there is no minimum age, we ask for a guardian or parent to be present in the room during the entire treatment for children under 16 years old, for safeguarding purposes.
For blow-dries and styling appointments, please ensure your hair is freshly washed before your therapist arrives. For up-styling, we recommend washing your hair the day before so it has a little more texture and hold to work with.
Not necessarily. The therapist will remove your make-up as part of the cleansing process at the start of the facial treatment.
Please wear comfortable workout clothing and have a clear space of at least 2m x 2m available. Have a water bottle ready, and let your trainer know about any injuries or medical conditions before the session begins.
Most therapists carry a standard kit for their treatment type. If you have a specific equipment request, please add a note when booking and our team will confirm availability with the therapist.
Yes, after the initial 12 weeks and with no medical conditions, you can have a pregnancy massage. Please always inform the therapist of your pregnancy before the treatment begins.
If you have a preference or a known allergy to certain oils, please add a note in the comments when booking so we can inform the therapist in advance.
